I use this projector for movie nights and casual gaming. Yes, this is a 800x600 resolution projector. It supports other common resolutions. Movies look fine. Gaming with SWTOR on highest settings looks ok. Games like SWTOR look better on my gaming rig that is hooked up to a monitor. I chose this projector because Optoma are known for their quality. However, it's low price when compared to higher resolution projectors was the deciding factor.I also looked at LCD projectors with a similar price, but decided against, because the projections are way too hard to see---unless the room is completely dark.

I had this for almost a month. This is a great projector with very less noise and a good picture. It supports 1080i. For its price, its a good bargain. - Satya V
