5Great All-Around Projector
By The Duderino
Pros - Natural life like image that doesn't appear over-processed, great colors and skin tones, sharp picture. Unbelievable 3D. Plenty bright.Cons - Useless Auto Iris. 3D glasses are expensive and separately sold.I've had this projector for about a month now and have been watching more TV than ever. This is my first projector and I spent some time shopping around and viewing different projectors. I had shopped in local stores and saw several on display, usually Sony or JVC. They both looked okay but I didn't like the motion blur or 3D picture on those projectors. The Sony had a setting that tried to smooth the picture but it made it look totally fake. This projector is a DLP, and apparently some people see a rainbow effect, but I never have and no one else in my household does either. Kind of like seeing unicorns maybe! Our regular TV watching and sports watching are great. But Blu-Rays take it to another level. The clarity and image quality is beyond what I've seen even at my local theater. Movie watching is where this projector really shines. We also watched 1080P movies streamed on line and it was the same stunning picture quality. It might be the 1080P setting, because the XBOX games are 1080P and they too look amazing. My screen is a 115" Black Diamond 1.4 gain Zero Edge screen from Screen Innovations (16:9 Format). My room is specifically set up as a dedicated home theater and very dark, so ambient light is not an issue. I have two rows of seats at 12 feet and 18 feet from the screen. A majority of viewing is DirecTV and sports, so we generally have some lights on. This projector on this screen is plenty bright, and I use Low lamp mode. The colors are natural looking and not overly saturated. The image appears sharp and I do not see any judder or motion blur, which I was concerned about on a screen this big. My main reason for DLP was the limited blurring of sports and gaming (have an XBOX connected to the system) and the superior 3D. I was told that blacks might look greyer on this projector, but I haven't noticed this at all. In fact, there is an Auto Iris that attempts to improve the blacks, but it tends to darken the corners of the image and creates hot spots on the screen, so I don't use it. To me, this seems like a useless feature, because the blacks look fine without it, and the distorted picture brightness when this feature is on is really annoying. There is a motion control setting that can smooth the image. There are 10 settings, with 5 for video and 5 for film. I usually keep it on the Film 4 or 5 setting which is in the middle overall. Video is the more aggressive setting and Video 5 makes the image look a little fake - too smooth. What they call the Soap Opera effect that bothered me so much about the Sony. There seems to be a lot of settings and memory to set those settings, but I haven't done too much with those. I basically use the "Cinema" preset setting and it looks like a great picture. In fact, I like the image quality of this projector better than the local theater.3D is absolutely amazing. The glasses aren't cheap and I had to buy separately, but the image is amazing. You probably haven't seen 3D this good, even in a movie theater. I tried 3D on other projectors and really didn't like it at all. Too dark and often juddery or blurry. I was ready to give up on 3D for the home but figured DLP might deliver. Boy did it with this unit. It's a very enjoyable feature. Not sure if it's the projector or the screen, but I might be pushing the limits of the technology with this set-up. At 12 feet on a screen this big I can just start to see the graininess of the screen/projector pixels. In my second row at 18 feet, there is no issue. The projector is plenty bright on a screen this big, but if you sit any closer than 12 feet you probably want no more than 120" screen for this projector. My installer thinks newer units that display 4000 lines of resolution might solve that, but those are thousands of more dollars than this. The screen might be contributing to this too. But, the large screen is incredibly immersive.Overall, a very good value with this projector. Paired with my screen, it looks like a plasma on the wall - a very big one!

5Perfect Quality Picture.
By Rebin Taha
This product is very good for Home Cinema because of the high quality. but that needs dark room to be more clear. thats why its not very suitable for Conference rooms. this is made to be perfect for Home Cinema as its Full HD.

Almost impossible to find compatible glasses, so I don't know if it was a good product or not. 300.00 for a pair.
