The PowerLite Home Cinema 5020UB 3D 1080p 3LCD Projector by Epson is the answer to home theater blahs. It features 2400 lumens of brightness on both the color and white scale, Epson's 3LCD 3-chip technology for brighter colors, and Full HD 1080p output.
With full 3D capabilities and 1920 x 1080 resolution per panel (for a total color output of 2,073,600 pixels), this projector is not kidding around when it comes to high-resolution output. The native 1080p resolution and native aspect ratio can be resized to 16:10 or 4:3 for standard TV viewing, and can receive composite NTSC / NTSC4.43 / PAL / M-PAL / N-PAL / PAL60 and SECAM signals. It is also capable of component input at 480i / 576i / 480p / 576p / 720p / 1080i and 1080p.

Unfortunately, you do NEED Epson to be that great, since the product has many problems. I went through several units, and in the end gave up and obtained a refund. I wanted to like this, since the specs on the projector are so awesome. May be worth a look once Epson sorts out their QC/QA issues with this model.
