The color wheel went out on my Samsung DLP tv. I found a fantastic site which guides you through the process (with pictures!) of replacing the color wheel. While the product didn't come with instructions for my TV, I found and printed the instructions from a separate source. It probably took me two hours altogether working alone to replace the color wheel on my TV. It's amazing how that little part can be so aggravating in terms of the awful noise it puts out when it's gone bad...even while the picture that the color wheel is projecting seems fine. But, after it was replaced, it performs like new again! You can do this yourself...but, don't start until you are prepared with good instructions to follow for your particular model.
