Great first projector
By Adan Hernandez
It gives you all the things you need for basic and some pro operations.First of all its Widescreen HD picture quality that gives you your typical 720p picture.Second the inputs. HDMI, composite, component, VGA, s-video... you can pretty much connect anything to it and still have some extra room.Third, very little or nothing screen effect. Every projector out there will have the screen effect, no matter what people might say, but this one has close to nothing. That is good. There are some cons, as always:The lumens that you get are very low, it would have been nice a brighter picture. Settings can give you a little more, but that is it. Make sure you have it on a dark room and you will be just fine. The speakers are a joke. Buy yourself anything and you can have better sound, even headphones. It is heavy, this is not one of those huge cinema projectors, but it sure was aiming for that. You can mount it on the ceiling with ANY mount out there and it will be OK, just remember that if you are planning on getting a projector that you want to move constantly, this might not be a good option. if you plan on mounting it on the ceiling and leaving it there, your on the right track, but if you do presentations on different places, forget it, get yourself a smaller one.Again I say, if you are looking for a beginners projector, this is the one for you, it has great quality for video games, watching TV, movies and even surfing the web. It is not 1080p, but you wont notice the difference when you watch a movie.
